Our Parks & Public Spaces

What I have learned about our problems in our community are problems and solutions, not everything can go well and as you want it planned but oh well. What I have written about was our parks and public spaces, "why", because there hardly any parks or fields in our community and people are starting

to play on the road. So that is why I wrote about this and also our creek because that is a big issue which is Pollution.

Math's Work

This week we were learning on how to do geometry, which was Shapes & Transformations. We were doing this because we see shapes everywhere. What I had drawn was a panda and I had did a reflection of it. The words we were learning about this is Rotation, Translation, Reflection, Enlargement, Symmetry, Tessellation.

The Idea Of Leadership

Leaders show Responsibility's, Guidance, Respect, Management, Self Control, and endurance.

Barack Obama is another great example of a leader because he is nice, caring, lovely and friendly. Adam Sandler is also a great example of a good leader because he is also funny, cool, nice, responsible, caring, friendly and self controlled.

So the leader in our Political Party group is, There is no "I" in team because we are a team we are all leaders and in our group we discussed who the leader was going to be then we all said at the same time "Let's all be leaders" who are responsible, focused, respectful, managed, self controlled and endurance. Just like who Obama is like because he is caring and he likes to take care of people. Adam Sandler is funny just like us and care's about people just like the both of them and us.

If I were prime minister for a day…

If I were a prime minister for the day I would help the poor to get good things not on smokes, alcohol and all the stuff that is gonna keep them poor. I would give them shelter and stuff to support them along their life. I would also support family who need help. I would donate to schools, hospitals, and more. What I would change is the things that really need help because it is not good for wealthy people and poor people god made us to become even, not better but even, different but even.

Who Runs The Country/School

What I have learned today in school is who runs the school and country because it is important to know these stuff because you never know when it might come in handy/

Migrant Reflection

What I have learnt about migrant was why they leave and the pull reasons of why they leave. I also learnt the reasons why they leave mostly because there weren't that much opportunities and transport and especially not good enough education.

I really enjoyed what we had learnt because my grandparents actually were migrants from samoa.

Exam Reaction

As soon as I heard the word exam I had butterflies in my stomach really scared trying to remember all the things I had got taught. When I had started the first test I was struggling and felt like I should have listened more instead of mucking around.

Well I didn’t really prepare for these tests because like I said mucking around but this was my fault because I hang out with the wrong boys. To be honest I did all right in some tests but the hardest one I struggled in was science and english. What I reckon I didn't do well was english, maths, and especially science. The exams that I didn’t do were Carrers, Music, and wood tech. The ones we had done were English, maths, social studies, and science.

What I can do better next time is to actually listen and do the right thing because I know I could have done better. So I am gonna study really hard and keep everything I remembered in my head and stay with the right boys. So next time my goal is to do right and focus and pass my exams.

He Korowai Hapori - Ruapotaka Marae

Today we had went into a van to Ruapotaka Marae in Glenn Innes, Auckland. We went with Glen Taylor school to listen and take notes about the Past Tense, Present Tense, and The Future Tense. She told us about the story long ago which was Past Tense about how they lived. This relates to sustainability because its about housing issues for families being relocated out of our community. There are issues for people wanting more houses and people wanting enough places, instead putting parks and public spaces for our community.

Hauora

Hauora (Taha Whanau, Taha Wairua, Taha Hinengaro and Taha Tinana) is represented into a Marae. The Marae has four walls of that representation. If one wall is destroyed then the entire marae is destroyed because the four all relies on each other to stand together. These could be called dimensions. All four have a different meaning to them. 

Taha Tinana: Physical( Tinana, helps out your preparation).

Taha Whanau: Social, Family, and Relationship

Taha Hinengaro: Mental and Emotional

Taha Wairua: Spiritual

The Man Makes History

The Man Makes History

1973 there was a well known man named Pikachu Moltres, he was about to make history for the first time ever. He was given Instructions of how to be safe and he was given a map to the jungle of doom. People before him has been but hasn’t been out cause to the doom jungle, the only way out was for him to follow the map.

He entered and people were cheering and then all of a sudden boom!!! There goes a storm he quickly looks at the map sayin, 1st instruction is to find the boat. He finds it on the path so he gets on it. All of a sudden he hears whooshes a flood is coming. He falls out and grabs onto a tree with one hand, Mr Moltres was about to slip so he had no choice but to let go and hold on tight with two hands.

Mr Moltres finds something to push his body up on the tree, he waits there until the flood finishes. It was getting dark and the flood had finished. Mr Moltres was lucky he took camping lessons back when he was thirteen, he jumped down and found some twigs and two stones. He smashed the two stones together to try and make the spark for the fire to start working, he makes it lite up.

He sleeps inside a bush for the night covered with a spare blanket in his backpack he packed. Mr Moltres cried himself to sleep telling himself why did he let go of the stupid map, he was more angry remembering the dora song im a map im a map im a map im a map.

The next day he woke up to the pouring of thunder he prayed to the lord if he could help him find his way back home. Then suddenly he followed this nice looking butterfly up the tree.

He sees something kinda big so he reaches out for it and it was a jetpack. Mr Moltres was lucky to find it thanks to the help of the lord, so he flew up and seen the island exit so he flies to it and people are waiting. Mr Moltres gets there and he makes history so the mayor Mr John Key gave him 30 dollars because John Key was greedy.
