Whats a food chain

A food chain is an order of what living things eat in there ecosystem. Did you know that a producer makes its own food? An example is plankton and plants. A consumer eats a producer. A consumer is a living thing that eats other living thing and does not know how to make its own food. And a decomposer eats dead plants and dead animals. A food chain starts with a producer like a algae. Then it gets eaten by a krill. Next it gets eaten from a fish then to a penguin. then to a leopard seal next a killer whale eats the leopard seal.
