The Ika Writing group have been learning to put speech marks in the right place. For a example
"James pass over the ball screamed Kent," and then he passed it.
This blog is a record of my learning during the years I was at Pt England School through to Tamaki College.

The Bird Nest
Tom woke up and turned on the lamp. He pushed the sheet and Woollen rugs off himself and staggered to the Window, which was partly open. He looked up to see a full moon and there, in the moonlight, sitting on a nest in a massive gum tree, was a mother bird and her noisy baby chicks. The nest, made from twigs, straw, wool and dead grass, was swaying wildly from side to side. As it did so, the mother bird tried to calm her frightened young ones by chirping softly to them.

Using your WITS helps you because Using your manners means using your wits and that How you make good friends and use your wits.
Ignore the people that call you bad things like about your skin hair and shoes. The first thing that you could do was tell the teacher or a prefect and Mr Burt or someone big.
It is important to talk about it because when someone sad people can be your friend and talk about and play a game or something fun. After that take him for a drink or the sickbay or somewhere super cool to do.
Sometime thing will be hard do you can seek help people and make really nice friend to work together and be happy. And do the right thing and when you're stuck you can ask for help and say thanks for your help.
how to learn and have friends and saying really nice thing that comes out of your mouth and playing the right way and in the right time right places right attitude and respectful others and watch out for little kids and I will always remember those things that wrote up there. And I will always work hard and use my W.I.T.S.....................
